9 was a
favorite number in Egypt. It may
have somehow been associated with
the cat-headed goddess.

It's an old tradition which tells of
cats that have survived nine deaths.
None of these legends have any truth in
them.

The saying that cats have 9 lives came
out with the meat called 9lives
